The most important thing to remember is that no matter how long you’ve been overweight, the risks diminish as soon as you start losing weight.

Being overweight brings about a loss of confidence and feeling of inadequacy. Looking good and feeling that you are looking good, has a psychological role to play in moving through the different stages of a woman’s life.
